Florrei

plants grow out of necks / groin
can be any type of plant 
"skin" can be any color
their bodies do not have any one gender / sex, though sometimes they seem more "masculine" or "feminine"
they develop the reproductive organs of both sexes of plant when flowering & reproduce through pollination
roots grow out of their hands and feet - this is where they absorb water and minerals from
they only flower once a month - it is only during this period that they can reproduce
their body types vary
they can get tan / sunburnt
they communicate through bird noises (chirping, whistling, etc). each Florrei has its own favorite bird to mimic. 

Rare / Very Rare traits:
plants growing from other areas
Florrei with a bird companion
fungi Florrei (these are extreme mutations)
ability to mimic a creature other than a bird
normal hands / feet
