Childish - Even though Ira is an adult, she continues to act childish and silly when she gets the chance. She loves to play with other pokecats, especially the younger ones (as she feels that they, at least, won't judge her when she does a barrel roll in the air and nearly crashes into a tree). She loves tag and hide-and-seek, and will always be open for games. Additionally, she can be a bit of a child when talking to other cats in general; if you annoy her, she'll either stick her tongue out at you and flounce off or talk to you about it, depending on whether she's feeling up to being an adult about things or not.

Helpful - Ira believes that her purpose in life is to help other peopl-- I mean cats. She will always stop what she is doing to assist someone else when given the chance, and she never expects anything in return. She became the head ranger for a reason; she believed that becoming a ranger would help her help others.

Loving - When Ira becomes friends with someone, she generally becomes extremely loyal and loving toward them. She devotes her heart to people and makes it very clear if she likes you.

Insecure - This has faded now over time, but Ira still has a nagging belief that everyone will leave her. This is part of why she is so loving, loyal, and helpful; she desperately wants people to like her so that they won't leave her like her mother did, like her best friend did. Ira tries to hide this part of her from others.

Clumsy - Ira has grown into her body more now, but she still has terrible balance and depth perception; she will often narrowly avoid crashing into tree branches when she is flying, and she stumbles a lot when she walks. It makes it a bit harder to be head ranger, but she manages.

Open/friendly - Ira absolutely adores making friends, and tries to be friendly to everyone. She is also very honest and open with other cats. If you talk to her, she will make sure that you feel like you're being payed attention to! This side of her personality doesn't apply to mean pokecats.

Distrustful - Even though Ira does her best to have others trust her and to love them in return, she has a very hard time trusting people completely. This is partially because of her insecurities and her past experiences; she has had pokecats leave her or turn on her a few times in her life, and believes that it could happen again at any moment.


Background:
Ira was born in the more desert-like area in the northwest of Centre Island, but her parents, Buzz and Harley, moved to Cianwood square soon after to be closer to other cats (mostly for the benefit of their new daughter). Her parents fought a lot after the move, as Harley hated being in the center of everything, and wanted to return to the peace of the desert. Buzz, however, believed they should stay, so that Ira could grow up around cats her age and make friends. Eventually, Harley returned to the desert on her own, and Buzz and Ira didn't hear from her after that. The father and daughter moved to the edge of town after that, and became very close. Ira looked up to her father, who had become the Head Ranger in town very quickly. She wanted to be like him when she grew up, and followed him everywhere she could when she was younger. As Ira got older, she started to branch out and connect with other pokecats in the area. She befriended a Snivy that lived close to her, and they became very good friends within the month. Ira was devoted to her friend, but the Snivy became more and more distant as other pokecats their age moved in nearby and she found other friends. Eventually, the Snivy left Ira altogether, having found friends that she enjoyed playing with more. Ira was heartbroken. After that, she returned to her father's side, and only became friends with other cats when her father forced her to go meet others. She eventually started to branch out and become friends with many other cats, but her best friend was Sparrow. She talked to Sparrow about everything, but hadn't known that he had been a Rocket his whole life. One day, he was ordered to attack her, and he followed orders. Ira didn't fight back; she loved Sparrow, she wouldn't lay a claw on him. Ira went a little crazy after that; she became extremely distrustful of everyone and started plotting revenge. Eventually, after being angry for a long time, Ira finally got her chance for revenge; as she and Sparrow fought, the other cat, her former best friend, shouted out explanations in a desperate attempt to make things right. He told her that they would have killed him if he hadn't followed orders, and then they would have killed her, too. Ira eventually listened, and calmed down after that. She and Sparrow didn't part friends, but they were no longer enemies, and Ira finally let go of her anger. She went back to helping people and working toward becoming Head Ranger (her father had retired and left to hind Harley), and eventually reached her goal. She has been happily working in the months since.
